Hailing from Central Vermont, BRAMBLEWOOD is a dynamic trio playing acoustic bluegrass, folk and country music, both old and new, along with award-winning originals. Comprised of three of Vermont’s seasoned and critically acclaimed Americana roots musicians, they blend strong heartfelt singing, close-knit harmonies and outstanding musicianship on a variety of instruments.

Carol Hausner grew up singing and playing guitar alongside her father and has brought her music to festivals, venues and community gatherings in Vermont, New England and the Mid-Atlantic states. She won the first place award in the Chris Austin Songwriting Contest at MerleFest (2009) in the Bluegrass category with Colin McCaffrey, and has been called “a dynamic vocalist…noted for her heartfelt vocal style and imaginative songwriting” by Bluegrass Unlimited.

Danny Coane lives in Montpelier and is well known as a member of The Starline Rhythm Boys, the rockin’ pride of Vermont. He has fronted bluegrass, country and blues bands, but the rockabilly, rock ‘n roll act “The Throbulators” gained him national exposure. He’s also performed with the WDEV Radio Rangers. He writes and sings with relentless enthusiasm, and picks a 5-string banjo and guitar with equal ability. starlinerhythmboys
Colin McCaffrey is a songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and record producer who lives in East Montpelier, VT. He can be found producing award winning recordings with his own band The Stone Cold Roosters, and renowned Vermont artists like Patti Casey, Myra Flynn, Justin Levinson, Lewis Franco, Susannah Blachly and many more.
