Carol, a heartfelt singer and award-winning songwriter, is steeped in acoustic traditional and contemporary bluegrass and folk music. Her musical journey began when her father taught her to play guitar and the folk songs that they sang together.  She started writing songs as a teen.  In addition to her expressive singing, Carol plays rhythm guitar and mandolin.

Jonathan, a classically trained lifelong pianist, loves the blues and the Grateful Dead, two of the styles he has been playing for many years.  Doc brings joyful, energetic playing and resonant vocals to his musical collaborations; with Carol, and previously with singer songwriter Alan Greenleaf, the voice of life in Vermont.

Carol & Doc’s strong vocals and harmonies meld beautifully with their instrumentation to create their rich and savory sound.

“A dreamy walk through misty forest leads you to a special place, welcome. Here you will meet Carol and Jonathan, a lovely soft spoken and musical duo that causes a pause coupled by an opportunity to muse. Join us for this mellow and delighted duo that always brings joy to the space around them.”
